About
CFHILL is pleased to announce that we are expanding with an all new Art Space at Malmskillnadsgatan in central Stockholm. The new space will function as an addition to our Art Space at Västra Trädgårdsgatan.
In these uncertain times visual art may function as a bridge between people and places, hope and despair and between the past, the present and the future. Our first exhibition at CFHILL Malmskillnadsgatan; HYBRIDS bridges the gaps well with its eclectic mix of artists, not locked down to a specific medium, but fluid and experimental. What the contributing artists have in common, is the hybridity within their own artistic practices; moving with ease between sub cultures, blending expressions and materializing the very meaning of the exhibition title.
Above all, HYBRIDS captures the zeitgeist of the contemporary world, where creatives fuse together different fields and collaborations and crossovers become increasingly popular. The breadth of HYBRIDS is extensive, ranging from exciting new artists just starting out, to well-established icons that have exhibited at the most prestigious art institutions in the world.
Within the realm of the current recommended restrictions, we firmly believe in keeping a positive outlook and keep on moving forward. With HYBRIDS we offer a unique experience in our new city gallery, conveniently placed in the heart of our capital. This exhibition is set out to make you feel; it may provoke, it may excite or simply please aesthetically, either way these are times to embrace the healing power of visual art.
