Anders Krisár & Jin Meyerson TWO-FOLD
CFHILL is delighted to present the duo exhibition TWO-FOLD by Anders Krisár and Jin Meyerson, curated by Cecilia Dupire. The show at CFHILL will be the first in a series of three exhibitions to present the two artists’ works, with the next two set to take place in Seoul and Busan in Korea in 2023. Krisár and Meyerson’s works were first presented in dialogue by Johyun Gallery at KIAF Art Seoul and Frieze Seoul this year.
TWO-FOLD examines the internal dialogues of two autobiographical visual accounts, pairing Krisár’s minimalistic figurative sculptures with Meyerson’s dramatic and dynamic abstract compositions.
Meyerson will present a new suite of paintings, both small and monumental in scale. A selection of some of Krisár’s most striking sculptures, studies in full or partial anatomy, will be on display. A new VR work by Meyerson will be unveiled that combines their two artistic worlds in one and will be viewable on Instagram and a new app.
In connection with the exhibition, a hard cover monograph of Anders Krisár’s work will also be released, designed by Henrik Nygren.
We are very happy to finally present this exhibition, which has been two years in the making. At CFHILL we have always strived to show the best of the Swedish and international art scenes. Korea has rapidly established itself as one of the most dynamic countries for all creative industries, with Seoul on track to become the new capital of Asian art.
